Capture the colors and character of home, garden or travel! Watercolor is the best media for quick sketches or playful compositions on the go. Spending just 10 minutes really seeing the large or small beauties of a particular place is great way to be present in the moment.
Explore the visually rich downtown of Greenwood in this all day workshop which will introduce a small portable painting system and techniques to translate complex views and a world of motion into simple arrangements of shapes, colors and textures.
The class will include a hand-on introduction to a limited palette of primary colors, playing with water control, composition from life, simplification of value/color and the specific challenges of watercolor on location.There will be demos, timed painting exercises, discussion, and individual instruction.

All materials and lunch included
This class will have a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 participant over the age of 16
