instructed by Robin Whitfield
Saturday, May 14 10:00 - 2:00
What is earth color? colors found in the wild. Colors may come from mud, leaves, berries, flower petals, mushrooms or mineral deposits.
Participants will collect their own colors from natural areas around the museum and create a mandala on watercolor paper.
A Mandala is a circular symbol representing the universe. Mandalas may be employed for focusing attention and for establishing a sacred space. The workshop mandalas will be visually inspired by the dynamics of the Pearl River.
